2006 video game awards

北美電視頻道SpikeTV今年頒發的2006 VGA（Video Game Awards）大獎，結果揭曉，今年電玩大獎的兩大贏家分別是：Bethesda軟體公司出品的上古卷軸4：遺忘之都（The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion）與Epic Games出品的戰爭機器（Gears of War）兩款遊戲，上古卷軸4贏得五項大獎包括：年度遊戲大獎以及玩家票選最上癮遊戲獎，戰爭遊戲則獲得四項大獎包括最佳射擊遊戲、最佳圖形獎與最佳多人遊戲獎另外評論人票選的最佳遊戲獎則由薩爾達傳說：曙光公主獲得。另外年度技術突破獎則不意外的由任天堂的話題電玩主機Wii獲得

最佳個人運動遊戲（Best Individual Sports Game）：滑板高手8Tony Hawk’s Project 8 (Activision)

最佳動作遊戲（Best Action Game）：死亡復甦Dead Rising (Capcom)

最佳團體運動遊戲（Best Team Sports Game）：NBA 2K7 (2K Sports)

年度電玩性感女神（Cyber Vixen Of The Year）：Alyx Vance -戰慄時空2 Half-Life 2: Episode One (Valve)

最佳電玩主題曲（Best Song）： Lights and Sounds by YellowCard橫衝直撞：復仇Burnout Revenge (Electronic Arts)

最佳電玩原聲帶（Best Soundtrack）：吉他英雄Guitar Hero II (Red Octane)

年度遊戲設計公司（Studio Of The Year）： Cliff Bleszinski/Epic Games 戰爭機器Gears of War

最佳原始程式（Best Original Score）：上古卷軸4：遺忘之都The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Bethesda)

最佳格鬥遊戲（Best Fighting Game）：Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Midway)

最佳射擊遊戲（Best Shooter）：戰爭機器 Gears of War (Microsoft)
